Sableye Event
Pokémon Pokopia's second limited-time event features Sableye, a Dark/Ghost-type Pokémon with the Search specialty. The event runs from April 29 to May 14, 2026. Collect Red Crystal Fragments on Dream Islands, buy camping-themed furniture from Sableye's shop, and build the Treasure-Hunting Set habitat.
Note: Sableye is only available during this event — don't miss it if you want to complete your Pokédex.
Event Details

Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Talk to Sableye at the Pokémon Center
When the event starts, you'll receive a notification: "A Pokémon is the talk of the town." Head to any rebuilt Pokémon Center — Sableye is waiting outside. Talk to it to automatically befriend it and register it in your Event Pokédex.
After the conversation, Sableye moves inside the Pokémon Center and opens an event shop.
Not seeing the notification? Make sure you have a fully rebuilt Pokémon Center, and try restarting the game.
Step 2: Collect Red Crystal Fragments on Dream Islands
Red Crystal Fragments are the event currency. They're found inside caves on Dream Islands.
- Give a doll to Drifloon to travel to a Dream Island
- Enter the cave system on the island
- Use Rock Smash to break Red Crystal Clusters (each yields ~4 fragments)
- Go deeper into caves for more clusters — one trip can yield around 60–70 fragments
Best Dream Islands for farming:
- Clefairy Doll → Rock Peak Dream Island (many cave clusters)
- Arcanine Doll → Volcanic Dream Island (good cave routes)
Speed tip: Use the Rollout move or eat a Hamburger Steak for a movement speed buff while mining.
Step 3: Buy Items from Sableye's Shop
Return to the Pokémon Center and spend your Red Crystal Fragments at Sableye's shop:
| Item | Cost | Needed for Habitat |
|---|---|---|
| Oil Lantern | 2 | |
| Jewel Wall Decoration | 2 (×10 stock) | |
| Digital Camera | 5 | |
| Map and Compass | 5 | Yes |
| Camping Chair | 5 | |
| Treasure | 5 | Yes |
| Sleeping Bag | 10 | |
| Camping Cooking Pot | 10 | |
| Adventure Kit | 10 | Yes |
| Tent Kit | 10 |
Total to buy everything once: 64 fragments. All items have unlimited stock except Jewel Wall Decoration (limited to 10). Stock up before the event ends — these items won't be available afterward.
Step 4: Build the Treasure-Hunting Set Habitat
Place these three items in at least a 2×2 grid:
| Habitat | Items Needed | Pokémon |
|---|---|---|
| Treasure-Hunting Set | Adventure Kit + Map and Compass + Treasure | Sableye |
Minimum cost: 20 Red Crystal Fragments (10 + 5 + 5).

Tips
- Missed the event? Change your Nintendo Switch 2 system clock to any date between April 29 – May 14 to access the event. No internet required
- Buy extras: Stock up on furniture items before the event ends. They're great for decorating and you can build multiple habitats
- Unlike the Hoppip event (3 Pokémon), this event features Sableye only
